Najera Hotels

Nájera, located 27 kilometres from Logrono, is one of the towns on the Way to Santiago de Compostela.

Nájera, the former capital of the Kingdom of Navarre, is situated in La Rioja’s Rioja Alta region. Nájera is located on the French Way, the most travelled route on the Camino de Santiago. The river Najerilla divides the city, and on its banks stands an exceptionally significant structure: the monastery of Santa Maria La Real.

The Camino de Santiago passes through the heart of Najera, making it impossible to miss the numerous pilgrims and travellers, as well as the inns and albergues that house them. This imparts a sense of movement and change, as well as a sense of the town’s immortality; for generations, different people have passed through, but the ancient buildings remain unchanged.

In addition to a variety of bars and restaurants, the city also has a couple of fantastic ice cream parlours. If you are in Najera for a day trip, you will be able to find a suitable location at a reasonable price, regardless of your budget.
